The Office
KP Office is a cross-disciplinary creative practice based in Athens, that attempts to transcend the traditional boundaries between architecture, art and research. KP Office specializes in a diverse range of projects that span from spatial design through exhibition making to research projects both in Greece and abroad. The projects we undertake are unique in their complexity, program, function, and technical requirements. This is why we strive to invest every design gesture with a contextual approach and conceptual meaning, delivering innovative solutions tailored to each unique project. The focus on detail and local context, the use of traditional techniques and local craftmanship, and the creation of atmospheric qualities are just a few of the principles that guide our practice. Whether this entails the construction a new building, the design of an exhibition, or the analysis of contemporary urban life, we bring a holistic and research-driven perspective to everything we do.
Architecture
KP Office aims at crafting spaces that are grounded in a deep understanding of local context and in a commitment to timeless and sustainable design. Using a research-based methodology aligned with the objectives of each project, we create spatial compositions that exemplify craftsmanship, blend into the natural landscape, and facilitate the interaction with the environment.
Exhibition
Our exhibition designs strive to narrate powerful stories, engage audiences, and communicate complex ideas. From museum exhibits to contemporary art installations, we curate and design spaces that captivate, inform, and shed light on untold histories.
Research
Our research projects employ qualitative methodologies to analyse contemporary cultural heritage and the urban experience. We look into the dynamics of urban spaces—looking at infrastructure, community needs, and environmental impact—to develop strategies for sustainable and resilient urban growth. At the same time, by examining the crossroads of politics, space, and aesthetics, we propose and implement a forward-looking cultural and urban policy that is inclusive, participatory and democratic.
